But I didn't like it because it sounded too harsh for my taste, so I gave it away - strange since I like most everything else by Kennedy. This was performed on period instruments and in the "historically informed" practice - I don't like the term "authentic" in the musical context. Next in line is Giuliano Carmingnola, directed by Andrea Marcon. Breathtaking speed, clean, passionate performance.
